At SNSZ completed the work on the formation of the corps of the r/v "Pioneer-m"
The ships of the Sredne-Nevsky Shipbuilding Plant (part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation ) performed the operation of filling the hull of the future research vessel "Pioneer-M" of project 25700. The carbon-fiber hull was formed by the method of vacuum infusion, when impregnation with a binder in a special way of laid carbon fiber layers. After assessing and controlling the quality of the formed structure, the specialists of the plant will perform additional reinforcement of the hull in the area of 1484404314844043the engine and tiller sections. In parallel with this, the shipyard is manufacturing elements of the inner set of the ships hull, the installation of which will begin this month. After the completion of the formation of the ships compartments, the shipbuilders of the SNSZ will begin the installation of foundations and the installation of equipment. The construction of ships of a similar class and purpose was not carried out at any of the domestic shipyards, which required the designer and shipbuilders of the SNSZ to carry out a lot of work to optimize design solutions. On July 27, 2020, the General Director of the United Shipbuilding Corporation Alexey Rakhmanov reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the completion of the design of a small research vessel of project 25700.According to the approved schedule, the withdrawal of the Pioneer-M vessel from the workshop is scheduled for the end of the year. In 2021, shipbuilders of the Sredne-Nevsky shipyard are to carry out an operation to launch an order for water.“Pioneer-M” is a small-size research vessel of the catamaran type with a hull made of composite materials. The vessel is being built to perform a wide range of complex scientific research works in the coastal regions of the Black Sea, including oceanographic, hydrobiological, hydrochemical, geomorphological, hydroacoustic and diving works. Pioneer-M will be able to cope with such a list of tasks thanks to the implementation on the ship of a modular system of container-type scientific laboratories, which are used alternately. The project assumes year-round operation of the vessel in the waters of the Black and Azov Seas, with a distance of up to 20 nautical miles from the place of refuge.snsz.ru
